Ladies at the Beech
This ministry is for women of all ages who are interested in growing deeper in their personal walk with Christ, serving the Athens community and beyond and building relationships with other women in the church.
Discipleship & Fellowship Opportunities
Women's Discipleship Group
Beginning Wednesday, January 8, our Women’s Discipleship Group will meet Wednesdays at 6:15PM in Room 215.
The story of Ezra and Nehemiah plays out against a backdrop of ruins. There’s a ruined city, a ruined house of worship, ruined homes—ruined life with God. As is often the case in our own lives, the wreckage was largely their own fault. Their path to rebuilding, at its core, was a journey back to God. This study will encourage you to trust in God who is always faithful. This study will renew your joy in the Lord and encourage you to turn away from your own way and toward God, ultimately discovering Jesus is the one who rebuilds and brings new life where there is ruin and decay. No workbook is required for this study.
Tuesday Morning Bible Study
Beginning Tuesday, January 14, our Ladies’ Bible study will meet Tuesdays at 9:30AM in the Fellowship Hall.
In this 7-session study on the Gospel of John, Melissa Spoelstra will encourage you to slow down and linger with the living Word. You’ll appreciate the pace of the Savior who never hurried but completed all that the Father called Him to accomplish. As you turn the pages of John’s Gospel, you’ll be challenged to take on the posture of a learner—understanding that the peace Jesus offers is not an ease of circumstances, but a stillness of the soul. As a result, you’ll grow in intimacy with Him and learn to live, serve, and rest in His peace.
A copy of the workbook is available for $22.

Ladies' Night Out
Ladies’ Night Out meets on the second Tuesday of every month. This is a time to make new friends and to be encouraged by other women just like you. Locations vary around the Athens area. The evening typically concludes with dessert and a Bible devotion at someone’s home.
