Our Retired/Senior Adult Ministry exists to magnify Christ as Lord by building the peoples of the Athens Region into Great Commissionaries.
Our Retired/Senior Adults are mobilized for ministry and missions through serving, praying and giving. There are a wide range of ways that you can connect with this group. A great place to start is by connecting with one of our many Retired/Senior Adult Small Groups that meet on Sunday mornings at 10:10 AM. Most of these groups are systematically studying their way through the Bible using curriculum provided by Lifeway. However, we do have some groups that occasionally cover topics like marriage, grandparenting, finances, etc.
This group plans monthly events designed for fellowship & outreach. These include day trips around the Athens region, luncheons and ministry to Athens area Senior Living Centers.
