Unwavering Hope
Our Mission: Hope for Every Generation
At Beech Haven, we believe hope is more than a feeling—it’s a foundation. Our mission is to cultivate the unwavering hope of Jesus in every generation, from preschoolers to seniors, from first-time visitors to long-time believers.

Therefore I have hope
It is our mission at Beech Haven to cultivate the unwavering hope of Jesus in every generation, and there is perhaps no greater need for this hope than when we are suffering. Because of sin, the world is broken and pain is unavoidable. But in Jesus, God has entered our suffering, borne our sin and sorrow at the cross, defeated death in the resurrection, and promised to make all things new.
Therefore, Christians do not have to deny grief or explain every hardship. We can lament honestly, trust God’s presence in the pain, and endure with hope because resurrection and restoration are coming. This is the hope we want to cultivate in our next series, called THEREFORE I HAVE HOPE, in which we will study multiple passages in 2 Corinthians.
What we ultimately will see is that the gospel does not promise that Christians will avoid suffering; it promises that in Christ, suffering will never have the final word. The series begins October 11 with services at 9:30 and 11:00.
We are a multigenerational, Christ-centered church located in the heart of Athens, Georgia.
