Disaster Relief Collection for Douglas, GA
November 3 - 10
In the aftermath of Hurricane Helene, many communities in South Georgia, including the agricultural town of Douglas, GA, are still struggling to recover. Homes and livelihoods have been impacted, and the need for basic supplies remains urgent. Led by an 84-year-old church member, Eastside Baptist Church in Douglas has been tirelessly providing food and hope to their neighbors, even during a season without a Senior Pastor.
Beech Haven is responding to this need by partnering with Eastside Baptist Church to gather critical food supplies and help restore hope to those affected. We invite you to participate by donating cases or flats of canned meats and vegetables. These donations will be carefully packaged and delivered to Douglas, where they will provide both nourishment and the gospel message to families in need. All donations must be in flats or cases (individual cans cannot be accepted) to ensure they can be stacked and transported efficiently.
If you’re unable to bring canned items, you can still support this mission by giving a love offering to Beech Haven’s Christian Concern Fund. These funds will go directly toward purchasing food for the people of Douglas, helping to meet the needs identified by our partners at Eastside Baptist.
This is a special opportunity for us to extend the love of Christ, offering tangible help and hope to our neighbors in South Georgia. Together, we can show them they are not alone and that their brothers and sisters in faith are here to support them in their time of need. Please join us in this mission and keep our fellow Georgians in your prayers as they continue to rebuild.
